We are proud of the great relationships we have created with our clients within Alberta. We have worked on new construction, maintenance, outage and turnaround works and repair of OPP’s (ore prep plants). These services include facilities encompassing crushers, apron feeders, mineral sizers, conveyors, slurry prep facilities and surge facilities, including structural steel, piping and rotating equipment. Pre project reviews, CWP’s and creating strong engineering and quality control objectives help maximize our  performance during the shutdown periods. Our project teams help to keep schedules baselined and reflect the changes in scope and every member of the team helps to fulfill a safe work environment.

Apron Feeder Overhaul

We have supplied, fabricated and installed equipment and materials for Apron Feeders. These projects included preparation of site, disconnect & removal of electrical components from crusher housing & apron feeder walls with removal of old wall sections and install of apron feeder components and walls, inclusive of crusher housing and head shaft. Connect Group drove a leading innovation that controlled the apron feeder rotation via PLC logic from the MCC and did not require operations in order to rotate the apron feeder.

Dribble Pan Modules

Design-build contract allowed for addressing issues and replacing existing sections of a large pan conveyor system. Prefabricated modules of the pan were fabricated offsite, transported to site and installed during outage. The project included engineering, fabrication and installation of new support systems, stainless steel pans and associated spray piping as well as reinforcement of existing structure.

Sizer Replacement

Removal of old sizer on site including electrical and instrumental components such as junction boxes, speed sensors, temperature panels, thermostats and motors.

Modification of old sizer base and mounts to accommodate new sizer and new site requirements. Installation of new sizer at site commissioning electrical and instrumental components.
