We have been part of maintenance and upgrades at some of Alberta's largest ore preparation plants.

In this rejects conveyor overhaul at the Steepbank mine, a design-build contract allowed for replacing existing sections of a large panwash conveyor system. Prefabricated modules of the pans were fabricated offsite, transported to site and installed on site. The project included engineering, fabrication and installation of new support systems, stainless steel pans and associated spray piping as well as reinforcement of existing structure.

Connect Group coordinated detailed surveying for the replacement of the supply and discharge piping to minimize the amount of field welds required. The stainless discharge piping also required rubber lining to be applied during construction.
